Ian Kingston
Background
Ian, a born and bred Kiwi, finished his studies in Auckland and entered into the food technology industry as Mechnical Engineer. To broaden his horizons, Ian left New Zealand for Overseas and returning to New Zealand in 2003. Ian became a Director of PMTL in 2008.
Professional Experience
Ian has amassed considerable experience in all aspects of project management and across a broad range of project types from food processing, dairy industry, retail, commercial and resorts.
Beginning his 30 year project management career in the food technology sector and then moving on to the building construction and property development arena and specialising in Development Planning, Project Management, Design Management, Project Implementation and Cost Control, Company Management, Contract Law and Consent Process.
During his career Ian has gained considerable overseas experience working on projects in Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, China and Australia before returning to New Zealand in 2005.
