Ian Warren is an accredited Facilitator, Trainer and Assessor (South African Qualifications Authority).

As such Ian has a wealth of experience undertaking assignments in a number of countries in Africa such as Namibia, Botswana, Mozambique and South Africa. In addition he has undertaken various training assignments in New Zealand.

As a subject matter expert, Ian was a committee member of the Project Management Standards Generating Body South Africa and was extensively involved in developing national standards for Project Management at levels 4, 5 and 6.

Ian has developed at number of his own project management training courses such as:

• Project Management Simplified - introductory course
• Smarter Project Management - advanced course
• Contract Management
• Project Management Professional (PMP) preparation course

In addition Ian has delivered projects such as:

• Establishing the "Bateman Training Academy" for the advancement of Adult Learning
• Coordinator and lecturer for the Project Management Institute South Africa in the PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) examination preparation course
• Development of a Project Management training course for Emerging Contractors for the University of Pretoria
• Lecturing at the University of the Witwatersrand Business School on their Project Management Programme
• Project Management training for the Ministry of Education , the Department of Labour, Damelin Management School and Bateman Projects Ltd
• Project Steering Committee and community training in the installation and operation of various rural water reticulation systems.
